MENTORING

A one-on-one program to support writers as they journey towards completing their manuscripts.

Five video-call meetings with a duration of one-hour each.

You can choose to schedule these calls over a timeframe of six months, nine months or a year. This way, you have the flexibility to work at your own pace.

Two weeks before each call, you send in a 10,000-word extract.

During the mentoring session, we discuss this extract in depth and/or address any plot-issues, challenges or questions you have about the overall direction of the book.

TEACHING FICTION

During the course of the year, I hold several workshops on world-building, mystery plotting, character development and other aspects of writing fiction. Details for upcoming workshops are found on my Instagram page.

ARMAAN

"Thank you for an incredible, insightful session! My mind was buzzing with ideas after, and everyone participating had such a unique input."

ANKITHA

"Thank you for an enriching workshop. It was practical and fill of actionable suggestions and I liked that we had a chance to apply what we learnt through the exercises. Thank you Meeti for also being open to providing feedback after the course was over."

SHRADDHA S.

"Thank you so much for the great mental workout and guidance. I was able to get insights on many flaws in my previous stories and will work on making the next one better!"

SAMPOORNA

"I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.

I thought Meeti was very engaging to listen to, and there was a lot of valuable information she shared that I found was useful to help architect a story template. I thought the exercises were just enough challenging and inspiring for someone like me who’s lost touch with the writing process. Also, I loved how open and encouraging she was about answering questions."

SANGITA

"Thank you for a resourceful workshop on the elements of Mystery Writing. It was great to hear your perspective on the constituents of a compact mystery plot, examine finer nuances and the relevance of a closing resolution. The need to craft a watertight framework based on the foundational and structural aspects that anchor the crime story, and the process treatment driven by strong characters, made for a good takeaway."
